The Joy of the Season's First Snowfall. There is nothing quite like the magic of fresh-fallen snow on a crisp early winter day. First Snow (HUM 2035) captures that burst of energy when the ground finally turns white, and it’s time to frolic! This spirited young girl has already rolled the base of a snowman into a large, heavy white ball. Dressed for the chill in her hand-painted wool cap, matching scarf, and cozy mittens, she is a picture of winter determination and pure childhood joy.
Released in 1999, this figurine has become a staple of the "Winter Fun" series. Hand-painted in Rödental, Germany, the piece is admired for the realistic "snow" texture on the oversized snowball and the vibrant, warm tones of the girl's winter attire. It serves as a nostalgic reminder of the days spent outside until our cheeks turned pink, building snowy friends in the front yard.
First Snow" is just the beginning of the fun! Complete your winter wonderland by pairing her with these "Winter Fun" companions:
