Siblings Motif.
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year - especially for children. All year round we look forward to the shining eyes of children when the Christmas tree is put up and the presents underneath are finally unpacked.
This is exactly the feeling of happiness that our Hummel figurine conveys. It shows a brother and sister admiring the Christmas tree that has been put up - the classic red Christmas balls, the lit candles and the golden top of the fir tree. The tree stands on a small stool that is covered by a festive Christmas tree cover. The little boy has his eyes fixed on the decorated tree, while his big sister puts her hand almost protectively on his shoulder. She herself is carrying the doll that Santa Claus gave her.
Both children have dressed up for Christmas Eve and are wearing their best clothes. The family cat has also taken a seat next to the children, somewhat hidden behind the tree, rounding off the contemplative scene.
Another siblings motif figurines are "See the Second Candle Burning" (HUM 2391) and "Light The First Candle" (HUM 2390)
