A Symphony of Heavenly Grace What does a heavenly melody sound like? The Celestial Musician (HUM 188) invites you to imagine the divine music of the spheres. This pensive angel, lost in the notes of their violin, serves as a timeless reminder of the peace and harmony of the Christmas season.
This figurine carries a rich artistic history within the Manufaktur. Originally sculpted by Reinhold Unger in 1948, the design was so beloved that master sculptors Gerhard Skrobek and Maria Müller collaborated to create a smaller version of this classic in 1983. Hand-painted in Rödental, Germany, with the signature soft hues of the Hummel palette, this violinist is a cornerstone of any celestial collection.
The Celestial Musician is even more enchanting when joined by other members of the heavenly choir. Create a sonorous holiday display with these companion pieces:
-
Angel Duet (HUM 261 /I) – Two little singers that perfectly harmonize with the violinist.
-
Heaven and Nature Sing (HUM 2096/Q) – Complete your musical scene with this sonorous duo in blue robes.
-
Annual Angel 2021 (HUM 2443) – Add a modern milestone to your historic angelic gallery.
