To commemorate the 40th year of the M.I. Hummel Club, A Basket of Gifts has been re-designed with a large bottle bearding a heart-shaped tag. A Basket of Gifts is reserved for Club members who have reached their 40th year anniversary milestone.
Modeled in 1990 by master sculptor Helmut Fisher, A Basket of Gifts was first released in 2002. Made in Germany.

Basket of Gifts reminds me of my childhood living in Germany with my Air Force family. I was born in Munich and remember wonderful times riding my bicycle around my small town, getting bites of sausage at the butcher shop, buying marzipan animals, walking in nearby woods, eating giant pretzels and other delicious dishes, learning to speak German, exploring other cities, outings with my German "Oma", sinking into feather beds and singing at the famous Munich Hofbrau Haus.

I love A Basket of Gifts. The girl in the basket is beautiful. The figurine is perfect for a 40th anniversary member.
