"Look, my little friend, what I have here for you" - there is a little ladybug sitting on the angel's hand. The little red insect with the black dots is considered a lucky charm in German culture and is supposed to bring the same to the little Hummel boy in leather pants and red shoes. Both he and the angel look spellbound at their little friend, who has made himself comfortable on the angel's hand. 

The motif of the angel can now be found in many Hummel figurines. The annual angels from the Hummel Manufaktur, which have been produced for more than five years, are particularly popular. Whether as a Christian symbol as in the Christmas story or as a companion in everyday life - all angels are designed with a lot of love and enchant Hummel lovers all over the world.
