Thanksgiving in the USA is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November. In Canada, Thanksgiving is held on the second Monday in October. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie are typical Thanksgiving meals for both countries.
