Limited Edition. Limited to 10,000 pieces.
Have you been good? When on December 6th Santa asks the children how they behaved, even the brave ones become a little timid. Well-behaved and shy, the little ones recite the poem they have learned and melt the holy man's heart. He has already put the rod under his arm - and it will stay there. The presents glitter temptingly from the jute sack he brought with him. Oh, such a beautiful Kasperl! Thank you, dear Santa!
Sculptor Helmut Fischer created this classic, which captures the scene surrounding St. Nicholas' Day so aptly. Because the path through the nighttime forest is cold and dark, Santa has brought his lantern, is wearing gloves and a thick, red coat. He looks kindly on the little boy, who, wrapped up tightly in his hood and jacket, has run out of the house in his slippers in the excitement. Good thing he's wearing thick socks!
This is a limited edition with each figurine numbered consecutively. “St. Nicholas’ Day” was first published in autumn 1997. St. Nicholas's companion "Ruprecht" (HUM 473) is also available to add in your collection. The latest St. Nicholas figurine is "St. Nikolas was Here" (HUM 2024).
