First let me tell you my earliest memoriss of Hummels were when I was VERY young and my grandmother had a fairly large collection. When my grandmother passed away I asked for only one thing The photographer from her collection, mom got the Stargazer my aunt got the rest to add to her collection When mom died all I wanted was The Stargazer . Now I have a fairly large collection of over 100 figures plus plates, mugs, music boxes etc proudly displayed in a lighted hutch with glass doors to keep little hands from touching. Now don't get me wrong there are plenty of finger prints on the glass when the grandchildren and great grandchilden come over. Because they love to look at the babies.

Really sorry that the cost of membership jumped so high

I could not believe the high jump in the cost of membership this year. I considered not renewing, this year; but as a Charter Member and a Hummel collector, for 54 years, thought better to renew.
Each piece has a special meaning to me and they are prominently displayed in our home.
I would enjoy collecting the larger pieces, that are available, but appreciate the smaller pieces, because they donn't take up as much room and therefore space to collect more. -

ordered 2 exclusive that said in the brochure I got came with a scape but when I ordered it I was told that was the old company. not sure it was but I didn't want to argue so let it go. been a member for a long time and my son longer.
