Joyful (Final Issue) - HUM 53 HSC 69139093
A final encore for an 80-year legend. This beloved M.I. Hummel musician is strumming her final tune. Joyful (HUM 53) has been entertaining collectors for more than eight decades with her cheerful spirit and rustic lute, but she is now set to bid us a "Joyful" farewell.
As a Final Issue, this edition is truly special for the serious collector. It is a rare example of a Hummel figurine designed without a traditional base, giving her a lifelike, freestanding appearance. To honor her legacy, this Final Edition bears a special Backstamp and a Commemorative Hangtag, marking her transition from the active catalog into the history books. Don't miss your chance to secure this piece of Hummel heritage before she retires forever.
Once these "Final Issue" figurines are gone, they will no longer be produced. Complete your collection of retiring legends before they disappear from the workshop for good:
-
Let's Sing - Final Issue (HUM 110): A fellow musician joins Joyful in her retirement tour.
-
Village Boy - Final Issue (HUM 51): A classic character piece that is also part of the Final Issue series.
-
Band Leader (HUM 129): The perfect centerpiece to lead your musical "farewell" display.

I wanted to purchase this Hummel as it reminds me of both my granddaughter (twins). One plays the guitar the other ukulele. Beautifully detailed.
