Should it be a scarf? Or maybe a pair of socks? Our knitter girl has made herself comfortable and is doing her favorite activity, knitting.

A small yellow bird keeps her company. A knitting spool is a popular tool for learning to knit more easily - for both children and adults. A knitting spool can still be found in many sewing boxes today. This Hummel figurine does not come with a sewing box. Nevertheless, it is already a true Hummel classic. HUM 929 impresses with its details: the small yellow flowers that grow around the Hummel girl, the branches on which the first buds are already announcing spring, the girl's blue headscarf or the ball of wool. Model maker Tamara Fuchs designed this Hummel figure in 2020 and brought it to life.

Together with the double figure “Concentration” (HUM 302) from 1955, and “Favorite Pastime” form a wonderful collection.

What is your favorite pastime? This Hummel girl knits her stockings, and sings a happy song together with the little bird.
