Hummel Cinderella is dedicated to a fairytale figurine. "Cinderella" is packed with details from her eyelashes to the dove's wings .The figurine was initially sculpted in 1972 and later reworked by Gerhard Skrobek. In this scene, the doves fly in to help Cinderella to sort the lentils so that she can still go to the ball.

Hummel Manufaktur have released several fairytale characters. "Surprise" (HUM 94 3/0) -Hansel and Gretel,"Adventure Bound" (HUM 347) Little Tailor" (HUM 308) based on "The Brave Little Tailor".
