Hummel figure “Blessed Event” was first brought onto the American market by the Hummel manufactory in Roedental in 1964 on the occasion of the World's Fair in New York and is German quality and handmade “made in Gemany”. The Hummel siblings were modeled by Arthur Moeller as early as 1955 in strict accordance with the drawings of the Franciscan sister Maria Innocentia Hummel, who lived in the Sießen convent near Siegmaringen and came from Massing in Bavaria.
