Cheers!
Our Hummel boy hides his one hand in his apron while holding a full mug in the other. This boy is the son of an innkeeper and he watches his father serve. He certainly doesn't seem averse to taking over a pub himself one day. He certainly has the open and friendly look he needs to welcome his guests! Hospitality begins with a stein of beer, and this village merchant is happy to welcome you to his establishment with a hearty toast and a friendly smile.
Eating and drinking is a popular motif in the Hummel world. "For you Grandpa" (HUM 2430) brings the delicious pint of beer to the table, "Waiter" (HUM 154/0) serves the right glass of water and the little boy from "Bavarian Toast" (HUM 2344) delivers a traditional the white sausages.
