Umbrella Boy - HUM 152/A/0
“If you follow the rain clouds, you will find out where the rainbows are hiding.” – Anthony T. Hincks
Oh dear – our little bumblebee boy was caught in the rain. But thank God he has his umbrella with him and can take a break, well protected from the raindrops. He holds the umbrella tightly in his hand. He is probably watching the raindrops hit the ground and form puddles. And who knows? Maybe a big, colorful rainbow will be waiting for our little friend after the shower?
The large size was redesigned in 1972 with a thinner umbrella and a new finish. In older models, the handle of the umbrella is connected to the left shoe. The small size was first produced in 1954. The “Umbrella Girl” figurine (HUM 152 B 2/0) was designed a few years later to match.
