Thanksgiving (Sheafbundle) - HUM 2439

What great gifts for Thanksgiving! Our Hummel boy proudly shows off his basket and the grain he brought to celebrate the day. His cheeks are still a little red from the harvest and his hair is disheveled. The pumpkin, so typical for autumn, is also clearly visible.

Thanksgiving in the USA is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November. In Canada, Thanksgiving is held on the second Monday in October. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie are typical Thanksgiving meal for both countries.
