A little candle is burning!

Master sculptor, Marion Huschka has created a detailed figurine that could hardly appear more peaceful and that captures the Advent season wonderfully. The first candle is burning in the living room. The baby lies safely in the cradle, cared for by the older sister, who lovingly strokes his head. The little sibling stretches out his hands longingly for the story and the song that his sister is holding in her hand and has just read and sung. The orange cat is making itself comfortable: it has curled up comfortably at the foot of the small table that holds the first Advent candle.

The figurine "Light The First Candle" is the first in a series that also include "See the second Candle Burning" (HUM 2391)  and "Christmas is Coming" (HUM 2392)). The series captures the Advent moments that we all know in a lovely way.
