40th year anniversary! Club Exclusive!
To commemorate the 40th year of the M.I. Hummel Club, A Basket of Gifts has been re-designed with a large bottle bearding a heart-shaped tag. A Basket of Gifts is reserved for Club members who have reached their 40th year anniversary milestone. This was first released in 2002.
The M.I. Hummel Club has traditionally offered an exclusive anniversary figurine every five years, available only to long-time members:

Basket of Gifts reminds me of my childhood living in Germany with my Air Force family. I was born in Munich and remember wonderful times riding my bicycle around my small town, getting bites of sausage at the butcher shop, buying marzipan animals, walking in nearby woods, eating giant pretzels and other delicious dishes, learning to speak German, exploring other cities, outings with my German "Oma", sinking into feather beds and singing at the famous Munich Hofbrau Haus.

I love A Basket of Gifts. The girl in the basket is beautiful. The figurine is perfect for a 40th anniversary member.
