What could be nicer than sitting together on a warm summer evening and making music together? That's what our accordion player thinks too, who sets the tone in this lovely scene and creates a summery atmosphere. He sits on a small stool with his favorite instrument and plays his melody with verve. A listening pleasure for everyone!
The most famous serenade in the world is none other than "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It was composed in 1787 - at a time when serenades were more than popular as instrumental music. Serenades are often referred to as open-air music because they were often and happily used as musical accompaniment for warm nights.
Like all original Hummel figurines, "Accordion Ballad" was painted by hand. HUM 857 was first launched under the Goebel flag.
