They say early practice is what makes a great physician! In You’ll Be Fine (HUM 926), we see a budding young doctor ready to cure any ache or pain. Well-equipped with his medical book and a remedy can, he offers comfort to his patient with a gentle, reassuring spirit. Children have always imitated the world around them through play, and master modeler Anette Barth has captured this heartwarming scene with extraordinary precision.
This is an incredibly elaborate Hummel figurine, created through a rigorous process of craftsmanship. The master model was disassembled into 16 individual parts, artfully reassembled, and fired multiple times. In fact, every figurine at the Hummel Manufaktur is handled approximately 1,200 times by skilled artisans before it is deemed a perfect masterpiece. This piece is not just a figurine; it is a tribute to the dedication of healthcare workers and the innocent heart of childhood.
You’ll Be Fine is the perfect centerpiece for a collection honoring professions and care. Pair it with these:
-
A Little TLC (HUM 2334/A): The perfect companion piece to show the "Tender Loving Care" that every patient needs.
-
The Professor (HUM 320/0): For a display of "learned professionals," the Professor’s wisdom complements the Doctor’s skill.
-
Chimney Sweep (HUM 12/I): While the Doctor heals the person, the Sweep protects the home—together they represent safety and well-being.
-
School Days (HUM 2220): Every great doctor starts their journey with their very first day of school!
