Wash Day (Hum 321 4/0)
It's always a busy day when there's laundry to be done, as you can see from the determined look on this little girl's face as she hangs a garment to dry. Made in Germany.
Hum 321/4/0; Height: 3.00"
Very sweet Hummel

I purchased this Hummel for my mother for Mothers Day along with another. She is an avid collector and has hundreds. I added this one as an after thought and I am so glad I did. She is beautiful and her little apron rises in the back to show her little legs and shoes. She is adorable. My mother loves her.
The first sample of Wash Day was made in 1955 by Master Sculptor Reinhold Unger and Helmut Wehite, and a smaller version was introduced in 1989 as part of a set with a mini-plate. Temporarily withdrawn from production in 1997, this tiny charmer has now been reborn as part of the Petite Favorites Collection.
