Like “Song of Praise” this angel was also modeled by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek and first released in 1984. Don’t let the smaller size fool you - the detail is stunning and her delight in creating music unbounded.

To convey a lively look to the figurine, each detail is carefully highlighted in both the sculpting and painting process. The dress of the angel, for example, is a perfect illustration of how the application of many layers of shading and highlighting bring out the realistic details with a color pallette of 14 different colors used. The darker colors in areas like the lap contrast with brighter colors on areas like the knees to create a believable motion to the angel’s clothing. Each finger is perfectly worked out and each string of the mandolin shown so you know she’s ready to play a lovely tune for you when you bring her into your home.
