A cute little angel brings not only a joyful song but also introduces a new dress color in our updated look for this figurine. “Song of Praise” was modeled by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek and released for the very first time in 1984. This year we are re-releasing her with a new variation in the color palette used.

Even though the figurine is only 3.25 inch / 8 cm, making it one of our smaller Hummel figurines, she requires 15 different colors to complete her unique look. Like the “Angel of Faith,” this angel also has the rare gold dipping on her wings. The painters have to be very precise with their detail work on such a small figurine, but when you look closely at the fingers holding the harp, you will see that even each finger is accurately worked out and highlighted. This attention to detail and commitment to artisan quality is what makes Hummel figurines a heritage you can count on.
