Begging His Share was originally designed by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1935 to be a candleholder. Begging His Share has not always been the chosen name for this beloved M.I Hummel figurine. It was originally called Congratulatory Visit. Up until TMK-3 the cake was produced with the hole for a candle, but once remodeled in 1964, the hole was eliminated. In 2010 Begging His Share was the chosen figurine to pay tribute to Sister Innocentia Hummel 75 years. Led by Master Sculptor Tamara Fuchs, a re-design was done to match Sister Hummel's original drawing more accurately. Today, it's a beloved M.I. Hummel classic that makes a memorable gift with a marking of Trademark-10.
